Ten Top Tips for a Cosy Autumn

So Autumn has finally joined us and it's definitely my favourite time of year! Snuggly evenings on the sofa with a blanket and a hot chocolate, candles lit and a lovely hot bath running. What's not to love? I thought I'd share some of my favourite things about autumn to help you enjoy the snuggly season as much as I do.

Life Update October 2017: Things are looking up...

Hi pals!
It's been a while since I've had the chance to do a chatty post and I've missed them A LOT! You know how life goes. And since I've been back at work I have missed blogging in general terribly. Nevertheless, here I am, and I just thought I'd update you on a few things! (Especially for my buds cos I've been a crap friend recently - sorry!)
The main thing to update you all on is that we are moving! Wooohoooo! I'm so so excited. I'm a bit silly really cos there's still a chance things could turn to poo until the keys are in our hands but I just can't help myself. I've already started buying bits for the new flat and I already have 3 boxes packed and ready to go. I just can't wait to get in our new home! I'll definitely be keeping you all up to date with any news on the moving front and I'd reeaally love some suggestions of fab places to get some new homeware bits!
(Also, new flat tour once we've moved? Let me know!)

I always swore I'd never be able to live in a flat, but I'm not really sure why. I think it's the thought of being in such close proximity to other humans that put me off the idea. But our new little flat is lovely, it's super modern and it's going to be so nice living somewhere that isn't damp and has central heating and actually has a bath tub! For those of you who don't know, we currently live in a little cottage on a farm in the countryside. And although it's served us well for a year and a half, the shine has definitely worn off and the lack of a bath tub is slowly killing me - all of the Lush hauls, here we come!

For those of you who read my post about my accident, my leg is slowly improving. Slowly. Really bloody slowly. I've been having some pretty intense physiotherapy and I start a knee rehab class (lol, it sounds so funny) in a couple of weeks, so that'll be fun! Jack the dog and I are still best of buds. I haven't yet decided whether or not to go ahead with surgery as there isn't any guarantee it'll be successful, but it can take 18 months for the bruising on my bones to go down so I've got time to think about it :)

Other than that, thing are just plodding along nicely really! Work is good, really enjoying it; the team are lovely and the new hospital is just great. Also, autumn is here and that calls for a LARGE amount of excitement in my book!

I feel like I've been away from these chatty posts for so long! How have you all been? What's going on in your life? Let me know what you want to see on this little piece of the interwebs.

Love always,
Samantha x
