What I got for Christmas 2017

Christmas is by far my favourite time of year. Cheese, chocolate and roast dinners galore. Of course they are my highlights; I am a foodie. It's also the season of giving and sharing and I thought I should show you lovely lot some of the things I was lucky enough to receive from my family this year.

I've always been a massive lover of The Body Shop, especially their seaweed skincare range. I find it absolutely perfect for my oily/combination skin!  My lovely parents gifted me lots of the products from the range so I'll be stocked up for a while now!

For those of you who don't know me in real life, I am a sucker for a game! I've been on about getting The Sims 4 for ages, and my boyfriend was kind enough to get it for me for Christmas. I've already spent more time on it than I'd care to admit!

Little brothers. Interesting specimens. However, he really did do well for my Christmas pressie this year! As well as a few other bits and bobs for the bath, he got me a new set of make-up brushes from Makeup Revolution. They are absolutely beautiful and super soft.

Alien is MY scent. I never buy it for myself as I can never quite manage to justify the price tag, but it's always on my Christmas wishlist! Nan and Grandad always sort me out with my fix of perfume (at least until my birthday rolls around!)

Christmas wouldn't be Christmas without some Benefit products. This 'Work It' set (I believe from the Christmas gifting range?) is lovely, and you get a little bit of everything. The boy did well, as this set contains a miniature of some of my faves.

I am a HUGE fan of Jamie Oliver and a proud owner of all his books. This was the first thing I asked for this year, as it'll be perfect for cooking in our new home.

Tanya Burr's Christmas range was absolutely top notch this year! I was so glad to have received the Velvet Vanille eau de toilette. It's super sweet and fresh - perfect for the festive season.

I was lucky enough to receive lots of thoughtful gifts from my nearest and dearest (and above all else, spend time with them of course!), and some of my main gifts were too big to photograph! We got lots of bits for the flat, including a glitter lamp bluetooth speaker from Goodmans (extra, I know!!!), and lots of pots and pans for the kitchen. I also got some pyjamas which I'm currently unable to take photos of as they've either been on my body or in the wash since I got them!

I hope you all had the best Christmas with the people you love. It's not all about the pressies (as much we love them!), it's about taking some downtime to chill with family and friends, eat copious amounts of cheese and drink gin all day long. It's over for another year, but we can already start looking forward to the next - I know I am!

Love,
Samantha x
